Slide Studio

Build your announcements, agendas and posters inside Sanctumel, then project them with the console you already know.

Your church projects lyrics, verses and quotations. But a retreat announcement, a meeting agenda or a baptism poster fitted none of those: you had to leave Sanctumel, build it elsewhere, and come back with a file. The Studio fills that gap.

Where to find it

On the Projection page, next to "Free session", the Slides button opens your church's library. Every deck already created is there, and you create new ones from it.

You never start on a blank page

"New deck" offers eighteen starting points, in three families:

  1. Service and congregation: Sunday announcements, welcome, verse of the day, birthdays, baptisms, offering campaign.
  2. Meeting, ministry, group: agenda, minutes, quarterly goals, figures and review, team introduction, roadmap. Plain and current, they serve a department meeting as well as a Sunday morning.
  3. Event and training: upcoming event, retreat programme, training session, questions and answers, sending out, thank you.

Every template arrives already in your church's colours. You type, and the styling is done.

A template is not a saved slide: it is a set of layouts. The cover does not look like the inner pages, and "Add a slide" offers the template's layouts instead of an empty frame.

What you can place on a slide

  • Text: title, subtitle, paragraph.
  • Bullet list: dots, dashes, numbers or ticks, with one level of sub-points.
  • Simple table: header row, numbering, stripes. Perfect for an agenda with its timings.
  • Image: with an adjustable dark veil that makes a title readable over a photo.
  • Shape: rectangle, ellipse, rule, arrow.
  • Icon: forty symbols picked for what churches actually announce.
  • QR code: to register, to give, to join a meeting. People scan instead of copying an address by hand.
  • Progress gauge: the thermometer of an offering campaign.
  • Chart: bars, line or pie. The figures stay IN the slide - correct an amount and the drawing follows.

Everything is placed by hand

Grab a block and move it. Guides appear when an edge lines up, and the block snaps to them. Side handles change the width; corner handles change the text size.

For fine adjustment, the arrow keys move by half a percent, and Shift + arrow by five. You never have to type coordinates.

The right-hand panel carries what the hand cannot do: align exactly to an edge, change the stacking order, lock a background you no longer want to move by accident.

Colours follow your church

The picker offers your church colours first: background, ink, accent, gold. Use them and your deck will automatically follow your branding the day it changes. A precise shade stays possible, but it will stay frozen.

With every choice, Sanctumel measures readability against the real background and says it plainly: a colour that works on a computer screen can be unreadable from the back row. When it is not good enough, one button applies the colour that fixes it.

Projecting

"Project" opens the console you already know. Everything is there: the hall screen, the QR remote, the black screen, the stage return, recovery after a crash, and working without internet.

Speaker notes stay private

Under the slide you can write notes for yourself. They never reach the hall screen or the live stream.

Saving is automatic

There is nothing to save: what you type is written one second after your hand stops. If someone else edited the same deck meanwhile, Sanctumel tells you instead of overwriting their work or yours.

The Bible, your songs and the Message, without retyping

Four elements know where your church keeps its data. The text is taken at the moment you insert it, not at the moment it is displayed: the slide stays correct offline and on a screen joined by a plain link.

  • Verse: pick the book, the chapter, the verse. If your church projects in two languages, the second is taken at the same time.
  • Song: search your books, click a section. A verse that is too long becomes several slides rather than shrunken text nobody can read from the back.
  • Message: search a sermon, choose a paragraph. It arrives with its number. A long paragraph is split at sentence ends, and each piece keeps its marker ("§ 42 · 2/3").
  • Linked list: birthdays of the month, baptisms, new members. Sanctumel sends only a name and one detail, never the record.

Templates

You never start from a blank page: eighteen templates, in three families, half of which do not speak of church. Your church can save its own for everyone, and Sanctumel adds more over time without you having to update anything. All about templates

Bringing in what you already have

A PowerPoint becomes an editable deck; a PDF becomes a pixel-faithful one. In both cases the imported text takes your church's colours. And your decks come back out as PowerPoint, PDF, images, or the Sanctumel format for another church on the Suite. All about importing and exporting

On a phone

The library, reading a deck and starting the projection all work on a phone. Composing does not: placing a block to within five millimetres on a six-centimetre screen is not work you can ask of anyone. The screen says so plainly rather than letting you try. Compose on a computer or a tablet; project from whatever you like.
