My journey (badges and points)
Understand the badges, points and levels members earn by taking part in church life.
"My journey" rewards members for taking part in church life. By giving or serving, a member earns badges and points, and moves up through levels. The card appears on their Community profile (/community/me).
Who sees the card
The card shows for every member linked to a church - even with no badge earned yet. In that case it is educational: it lists the badges to unlock and how to earn them. An account with no member record (e.g. a plain visitor) sees no journey, because badges rely on giving and serving.
Good to know: badges are earned on new events (a recorded gift, a confirmed serving assignment). There is no retroactive backfill over past history: that is why a card may first look empty, then fill in from the first participation.

Each badge is a milestone: earned only once. Giving counts tithes, offerings and donations recorded in the member's name.
Points and levels
Points add up with each badge. Levels follow gentle thresholds (100, 300, 600, 1000, 1500 points, then +700 per level). The progress bar shows what is left before the next level.
Notifications
When a member unlocks a badge, they receive a congratulation (in-app notification, and push if enabled) that links back to their card. The reward never blocks the original action (the gift or service is recorded even if the notification fails).
