QR meeting check-in

Members check in by scanning a rotating QR: the weekly report arrives pre-filled.

QR check-in removes double attendance entry: the leader displays a QR, everyone scans, and the weekly report fills itself.

Start a check-in (leader)

  1. Open the department hub, then QR check-in (also reachable from the report screen).
  2. A QR in your church's colors appears: project the screen or show your phone.
  3. The code changes every 45 seconds: a screenshot sent to an absentee does not work.
  4. The "Present live" column fills as scans come in, with each check-in time.
  5. A member without a phone? The Mark button on their line marks them manually.
  6. Finish check-in closes the session and opens the pre-filled report: only the theme and statistics remain.

Check in (member)

  1. Scan the QR with the phone camera: the page opens in the phone's language, no account, no app.
  2. Type the first letters of your name, tap your name: "Welcome, attendance recorded".
  3. One check-in per person per day; only first name and initial appear on screen.

What it changes

  1. Attendance lands in the weekly report with its source traced (QR and time, manual, or rota import).
  2. Attendance tracking, dropout alerts, the pastoral view and replacement suggestions benefit immediately: it is the same data.
  3. The report workflow (Draft, Submitted, Validated) does not change: check-in fills, the secretary verifies and submits.
