You do not need a Sanctumel account to join a meeting. The link is enough, and there is nothing to install.
With the link you received
Tap the link you got by message or email. You land straight on the meeting's welcome screen: you enter your name, check your camera and microphone, then go in.
Your name is remembered by your device: at the next meeting, the field is already filled in and you can change it freely. It is not sent anywhere else. Reloading the page in the middle of a meeting does not throw you out either: you come straight back into the room.
During the meeting, on the keyboard
On a computer, three shortcuts follow the Zoom habits:
- M mutes and unmutes the microphone.
- V turns the camera on and off.
- Holding the space bar opens the microphone for the length of a sentence, then closes it when you release.
When the link is lost
It happens: the message got buried in a conversation, the phone changed hands. Go to sanctumel.com/meet/rejoindre.
- Paste the whole link if you found it again, even with whatever trails after it.
- Or simply type the room code, the one your church gave you once and for all.
- Tap Join.
Note: capitals and spaces do not matter. A code read aloud and typed back works.
When the meeting ends
You stay in the meetings space, never sent to a sign-in screen. If the meeting is over, the same page lets you go elsewhere with another link or another code.
