Where published testimonials appear
Understand how a member submits a testimonial on the Community page and how published stories are shown, always anonymously.
Once published, testimonials do not stay inside the admin area: they appear on your church page in Community. That is also where members submit their own. This article walks through what a member sees, from submission to display.
Submitting a testimonial from Community
On the church page, a Testimonials section offers a button to share your own story.
- The signed-in member clicks Share.
- They write their testimonial in the text area.
- They send it: the story then goes to moderation.
Note: the text must contain at least a few words to be sent, and is capped at 2000 characters. A thank-you message confirms the submission.
Anonymity is the rule
Before sending, a reminder clearly states that the testimonial will be shown without a name. This encourages members to share freely, without fear of being exposed.
Warning: nothing is published directly by the member. Every submission goes through the church moderation queue first.
How published stories are shown
Once a testimonial has been published from the moderation queue, it appears in the section's list as a quotation. The author is simply marked as anonymous.
| Displayed element | Detail |
|---|---|
| The text | Shown in quotation marks, exactly as reviewed. |
| The author | Always anonymous, never a name. |
If no testimonial has been published yet, the section shows a short waiting message instead of the list.
Tip: share your church's Community page link so anyone can read the testimonials and submit their own from their phone.
