Tracking engagement

Read your publication statistics to learn what really reaches your members.

Publishing is one thing; knowing what gets read and shared is another. The Publications page offers a Statistics tab that gathers, at a glance, what your announcements actually achieve. This tab is reserved for leaders.

Opening statistics

At the top of the Publications page, switch from the Feed tab to the Statistics tab. The figures are computed across all your publications, stories excluded.

Key indicators

Four cards sum up the activity:

IndicatorWhat it measures
FollowersPeople who follow your feed
Total viewsHow many times your publications were viewed
EngagementReactions, comments, shares and prayers combined
SharesRelayed publications, with the prayer total

The engagement rate (engagement over views) shows the share of readers who do more than watch and actually respond.

Reading the charts

  • Publications per month: the volume of content produced over time, to spot quiet periods.
  • Top publications by views: your most-viewed announcements, with views and reactions detailed.
  • Breakdown by type: the share of each format (text, photo, poll, prayer...).
  • Engagement detail: the split between reactions, comments, shares and prayers.

Tip: find the content type that engages the most, then reuse that format for your important announcements.

Understanding engagement

Engagement adds up every interaction: reactions (Amen, Praying, Alleluia, Like), comments, shares and prayers on prayer requests. A high view count with little engagement flags content that is seen but not compelling; the opposite reveals a message that resonates.

Note: stories have their own view tracking, available from their history, and are not counted in these feed statistics.
