Sell a paper book for pickup

Offer a printed copy, manage stock and confirm pickups with a code.

2026-07-04

On top of the digital file, a PDF resource can be sold as a paper copy, to be picked up on site. The member pays online, gets a code, and you hand over their copy when they come by. The Library tracks stock and pending pickups.

Enable the paper offer

  1. Open a PDF resource's sheet, then edit it.
  2. In the sales offers section, switch on Paper pickup.
  3. Enter the paper price, in your church's currency.
  4. You can combine both offers: digital and paper, each with its own price.

Tip: you can offer the file for free and charge only for the printed copy, or sell both formats at different prices.

Manage stock (optional)

Under the paper price, switch on Manage stock and enter the quantity available. The Library then counts down each copy sold. Leave this option off if you don't want to limit the number of copies.

Confirm a pickup

When a member buys a paper copy, their order moves to "To collect" and a pickup code is generated. Two ways to confirm the pickup:

  1. Open Pickups from the Library header (or the resource sheet, Pickups tab).
  2. Type the code the member gives you, or click Marked collected next to their order.
  3. The order then moves to "Collected".

Note: the "To collect" counter at the top of the Library tells you at a glance how many copies are waiting to be handed over. Click it to open pickup management directly.

Track paper orders

In the resource sheet, the Sales tab separates digital sales from paper sales. Each buyer appears there with their format and pickup status (to collect or collected).

Warning: only confirm a pickup once the member has actually received their copy. Once marked collected, the status does not reopen on its own.
