Commissions and payouts
How your ambassador commissions are generated when a subscription is activated, the payout threshold and required country, and how the payout is made.
As an ambassador, you are rewarded when a church you referred subscribes to Sanctumel. The reward always applies to the church's subscription, never to the donations it receives. Here is how a commission is created, when it becomes payable, and how you get paid.
Note: Sanctumel never takes anything from a church's donations. Your commission comes solely from the subscription purchased by the church you referred. This is an absolute rule of the platform.
How a commission is generated
A commission is created automatically when a church you referred activates a paid subscription. The trigger is not the sign-up alone, but the actual payment of the subscription.
- A church signs up through your referral link (with your code).
- It activates a paid subscription.
- A commission appears in your dashboard, with a pending status.
Each commission shows the church involved, the amount, the rate applied, the currency and the date it was created. Until it is paid out, it stays counted in your pending commissions.
Tip: your ambassador dashboard always separates two totals - what has already been paid and what is still pending. It is the best place to track the state of your earnings.
The payout threshold
Commissions are settled in euros (EUR). Before a payout can be sent, your pending balance must reach a minimum amount.
| Condition | Value |
|---|---|
| Payout currency | Euro (EUR) |
| Minimum threshold to be paid | 30 € in pending commissions |
While your total stays below the threshold, commissions keep accumulating without being lost: they will be settled once the threshold is crossed.
The payout account and verification (KYC)
To be paid, you must first connect a payout account. Sanctumel relies on a certified payment provider (Stripe): you open a secure onboarding flow that verifies your identity and your banking details.
- From your ambassador area, start setting up your payout account.
- You are redirected to the provider's secure onboarding flow.
- There you enter your identity and banking information (the verification step, known as KYC).
- Once verification is validated, your account is marked as connected and ready to receive payouts.
Warning: the payout account must be opened in a country supported by the provider. As long as verification is not complete and the account is not connected, no payout can be made, even if you are above the threshold.
How the payout is made
The payout is triggered by the Sanctumel team from the back-office. An ambassador becomes payable as soon as both conditions are met: a connected payout account and a pending balance of at least 30 €.
- The team sees your pending balance in the ambassador review.
- If your account is connected and the threshold is reached, the payout is launched.
- The commissions involved move from pending to paid.
- The amount is sent to your payout account by the provider.
After the payout, your dashboard updates your totals: the settled amount joins your paid commissions, and your pending balance decreases accordingly.
Note: if your account is not yet connected or your balance is below the threshold, the payout simply stays pending. Nothing is lost: as soon as both conditions are met, the payment can be made.
Commission duration
The commission is not paid indefinitely. It runs for a fixed duration of 6 months maximum, and only while the church stays subscribed and up to date on its payments. If the church pauses or cancels its subscription, the commission stops. Sanctumel reserves the right to change these terms (rate and duration) at any time.
