Projection shows the big screen what the assembly needs to see - song lyrics, Bible verses, announcements - and is driven from a computer or a phone during the service. The control room shows you real thumbnails of every slide, so you know at a glance what is on screen and what comes next.

Opening projection

  1. Open Projection.
  2. Project a planned service (with its worship list and texts), or start a Free session to improvise everything. See Free session and Live panel.
  3. On opening, the public screen shows your church logo, plain, while it waits for the first slide. Nothing else: no name, no menu.

A control room that shows everything

The left column lists every slide of the service in order. Two views, your choice with the Grid / List button:

  1. Grid: real thumbnails, like screenshots of the public screen - you recognize a song, a verse or a sermon without even reading.
  2. List: one line per slide, more compact when the session runs long.

On the right, the "Next" preview shows the coming slide (and the ones after): the operator anticipates without turning around. The counter at the bottom locates the position (for example 12 / 48).

Driving live

  1. Click a slide (or use the arrow keys) to send it to the public screen.
  2. The big screen shows only what is useful to the assembly, never your controls.
  3. The B key (or the Black screen button) hides the screen in one gesture, during a prayer or a transition, without losing your place.

Note: keep the control screen on your device, and send only the clean display to the projector. See Public screen and shortcuts.

No distraction: fullscreen

The fullscreen button (expand icon) puts the whole control room in fullscreen and hides the browser bars (tabs, address). You stay focused on the service, with no risk of clicking astray. Press Esc to leave it.

Showing verses

You can project a Bible passage in your church's version and language, without retyping it: by reference ("John 3:16") or by picking it in the browser. The Bible projects verse by verse, so the assembly reads one whole verse at a time. See Live control room and tablet lectern.

On the online stream

If your church streams the service, the projected verse, lyrics or quote can appear as an overlay on the live video, for those following remotely - whether you broadcast through OBS and YouTube or through the Sanctumel live. See Overlay your live stream.
