Slots define the moments when you are available to meet. Once open, they show up to the people who want to see you: they pick the window that suits them, with no exchange of messages. You keep control at all times, activating or deactivating a window as you wish.
Open a slot
- Open Appointments.
- Click Slot (or Add slot from the My slots panel).
- Choose the slot type: Recurring or One-off.
- Fill in the start time, the end time, the length of one appointment and, if needed, a note.
- Save.
Tip: a recurring slot repeats every week without you having to recreate it. Keep the one-off slot for exceptions, such as an unusual availability on a specific day.
Recurring or one-off
| Type | When to use it | What you set |
|---|---|---|
| Recurring | An availability every week | The day of the week (Monday to Sunday) |
| One-off | A single date | The exact date |
Set the length and capacity
- Appointment length: how long each meeting lasts, in 15-minute steps. A window from 9:00 to 12:00 with 30-minute appointments frees several back-to-back moments.
- Appointments per slot: how many people you accept on the same moment. Leave it at 1 for a one-to-one meeting.
Note: the time the person requests must fall between the start and the end of the window. A wide window gives more flexibility, a short one frames your diary more tightly.
Activate or deactivate a window
The My slots panel lists every window with its state:
- Open My slots from the page header.
- Each window shows Active or Inactive.
- Use Activate or Deactivate to make it visible or hide it.
A deactivated window is no longer offered to people, but it stays saved: you can turn it back on later without entering everything again. This is handy during an absence or a break.
