Track a product's sales
Read net revenue and order counts, then print a sales report for any product in the store.
Every product in the store keeps its own books. From its page, the Sales tab shows at a glance what the product earned, how many units were sold and what is still waiting to be handed over. You can also turn it into a printable report for your records or your treasurer.
Open the Sales tab
- Open Store, then click the product you want.
- On the product page, select the Sales tab.
- The figures and the list of paid orders load.
Only paid orders are counted. An order abandoned before payment does not show up in sales.
Read the figures
| Figure | What it measures |
|---|---|
| Net revenue | What actually goes to your church, after commission |
| Orders | Number of paid sales for this product |
| Units | Total quantity of items sold |
| Commission | Fees kept by the payment provider |
| Gross revenue | Total collected before commission |
Note: just like donations, the money never passes through Sanctumel. Net revenue is paid to your church's payment account. The commission is the payment provider's fee.
Below the figures, the list details each sale: buyer name, chosen variant, quantity, date and amount. A label shows whether the order was collected or is still to collect.
Print a sales report
Once at least one sale exists, a Print report button appears.
- Click Print report.
- A document opens in a new tab, on your church's letterhead.
- Use your browser's print dialog to print it or save it as a PDF.
The report includes the figures, the full list of sales and the date it was generated. It is written in your church's official language.
Tip: this report is handy for a monthly review with the treasury or to justify income during an internal audit.
Where the total appears in accounting
Every paid sale is recorded automatically in the Finance module. There is nothing to re-enter: store revenue flows in with the rest of your income.
