The curriculum marketplace

Publish your curriculum for other churches and import the curriculums shared by the community.

2026-07-04

The marketplace connects churches around their Sunday school curriculums. You can publish a path you have built so that others can use it, and explore the ones the community has shared to import them into your own school. It is a new way to share teaching work, and for paid curriculums, a source of revenue.

Publish a curriculum

From one of your school's curriculums, open Publish to the marketplace. First choose a licence:

LicenceWhat it means
Free (open)Shared and reusable without restriction
FreeOffered to other churches, imported at no cost
PaidSold at a price you set

For a paid curriculum, set a church price (what a church pays to import it) and, if you wish, a separate member price. Finally, tick the rights attestation confirming that the content is yours, then confirm with Publish.

Note: the rights attestation is required. Only publish content you have created or are authorised to distribute.

Moderation before it goes live

A published curriculum does not appear right away. It first goes into a pending state while the platform reviews it. There are three possible outcomes:

  • Approved: it becomes visible in the marketplace,
  • Rejected: a moderation note explains why, so you can fix it and republish,
  • Retired: you can retire your curriculum at any time to stop offering it.

Tip: if a curriculum is rejected, read the moderation note before submitting again. It tells you exactly what needs to change.

Explore shared curriculums

Open the marketplace in explore mode. You will find a showcase of curriculums as cards, with the licence, the originating church, the user rating and the number of lessons.

  1. Use the search to find a theme or a title.
  2. Switch to Free to show only curriculums with no payment.
  3. Click a card to open its detail page.

The detail page shows a preview of the path: the first lesson is viewable to give you a sense of the content, while the rest of the lessons stay locked until you import. You can also read the reviews left by other churches.

Import a curriculum

From the detail page, import the curriculum into your school:

  • for a free (open) or free curriculum, the import happens in one click and a copy appears in your school,
  • for a paid curriculum, you are taken to secure payment; the import completes automatically on your return.

Once imported, the curriculum is yours as a copy: you can adapt it to your classes without touching the original.

Warning: you cannot import your own curriculum. On your own listing, the platform says so instead of offering the import.
