Write the minutes of a meeting
Record the agenda, the interventions and the decisions of a finished meeting, then generate PDF minutes in the church's colours.
Once a meeting has ended, Sanctumel Meet lets you keep a written record of it: agenda, interventions and a summary report. It all turns into PDF minutes ready to print and archive, with your church's letterhead.
Open the minutes
- In Sanctumel Meet, find the meeting with the Ended status.
- Click Minutes on its card.
- A window opens with three tabs: Agenda, Interventions and Report.
Agenda tab
List the points covered, in order. For each point you can add a presenter and a duration in minutes.
- Enter the title of the point (and a description if useful).
- Add the presenter and the duration if you know them.
- Click Add. The point joins the numbered list.
Interventions tab
Record what was said, sorting each contribution by type.
| Type | Use |
|---|---|
| Remark | A general comment |
| Question | A point raised |
| Decision | A choice made |
| Objection | A disagreement voiced |
| Proposal | An idea put to the group |
Enter the speaker's name, optionally their role, choose the type, then type the content and confirm.
Tip: sorting contributions by type makes the minutes far easier to read: you can spot every decision and objection at a glance.
Report tab
This is the official summary. Fill in the rapporteur and their role, a summary, the decisions, the next steps and, if needed, the person who approves the document. Click Save report.
Generate the PDF
The Generate PDF button opens formatted minutes: a header with the church's logo and name, the meeting date, the agenda, the interventions, the decisions, the next steps and signature areas. Use the print button to save it as a PDF or print it.
Note: the document uses the church's official language for titles and dates, to stay consistent with your other documents.
Warning: minutes are an official document. Re-read the names and decisions before sharing them or having them signed.
