The Songbook tab gathers every song your church uses in one place: lyrics, verses, key and a reference recording. Once your library is set up, each song can be reused from one service to the next and printed as a booklet.
Add a song
- Open Worship & Music, then the Songbook tab.
- Click New song.
- Enter the title, and where known the author, language and key.
- Pick a category: Worship, Praise, Offering, Invitation, Exit or Special songs.
- Add the sections (verse, chorus, bridge...) with their lyrics. You can set a repeat count and a key variation per section.
Tip: you can attach a reference audio file to a song. The team hears the right version, in the right key, before rehearsal.
Sort and find a song
Each category has its own colour, so the library stays readable at a glance. To find a song:
- Use the search by title, author or tag.
- Filter by category by clicking a coloured chip.

Print a PDF songbook
From the Songbook tab you generate a real, print-ready PDF file, complete with a cover, a table of contents and a QR code to the church's public page:
- List: all filtered songs in a single run.
- By category: each category in its own section, with its colours.
- Selection: only the active category when a filter is applied.
You also choose the order: alphabetical or order added (handy to keep the numbering stable in an official booklet where new songs stay at the end of the list).
Note: PDF export depends on your subscription plan. The layout (two columns, paginated contents) is computed automatically.
Organize into collections
Create as many collections as you need (Sunday service, Youth, Christmas...) right in the Songbook tab: a row of chips above the categories.
- Click New collection and name it.
- Open the collection then Add songs: tick them in the list.
- A song can belong to several collections at once - nothing is duplicated.
- Removing a song from a collection or deleting a collection never deletes the song from the songbook.
- Publish this collection sends it in one click to the Shared songbooks (collection songs preselected).
Tip: when importing a file, pick a destination collection: imported songs are filed there automatically (for example a collection named after the file).

Writing a song on its own page
Since August 19, a song is written on its own page, no longer in a window: the song sheet on the left (sections as blocks: verse, chorus, bridge), the record on the right (title, category, key, audio).
The gesture that changes everything: Paste a song. Got the text in VideoPsalm, Word or WhatsApp? Paste it as is - markers like [Verse 1], Chorus: or plain stanzas separated by blank lines are recognized automatically and become blocks. Nobody retypes.
- Reorder: arrows move a block up and down.
- Repeat: a chorus's "× 2" is set on the block.
- Chords and key: folded under each block, for those who play.
Cleaning up duplicates
Living repertoires accumulate duplicates: the same song entered twice, imported from a file then retyped by hand. The Duplicates page (Songbook tab, action ribbon) cleans up without deciding anything for you.
- Detection matches titles written the same way - ignoring accents, case and punctuation. "Alléluia!" and "alleluia" form a group; "Psalm 23" and "Psalm 24" stay distinct.
- Compare lyrics opens the versions side by side with a clear verdict: identical lyrics (deleting one loses nothing), same skeleton (diverging lyrics, read before deciding) or different content (probably two distinct songs under the same title).
- You decide: Open leads to the song page to fix it, Delete removes a version - with 5 seconds to undo.
Tip: the "same number of parts" badge flags the most suspicious groups: same title and same structure almost always mean a true copy.
